Notice on Holding the 2026 Navigation Science and Technology Innovation Symposium

To all relevant entities:
The year 2026 serves as a critical year marking the conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the launch of the 15th Five-Year Plan. To accelerate the efficient transformation and application of major scientific and technological achievements and boost the high-quality development of the maritime industry, China Institute of Navigation (hereinafter referred to as CIN) will hold the 2026 Navigation Science and Technology Innovation Symposium at Wuhan University of Technology from April 18 to 19, 2026.
The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
I. Time and Venue
1.Schedule: Registration on April 17;
keynote speeches, academic exchanges and group discussions on April 18;
laboratory visits and departure on April 19.
2.Venue: Conference Room 301, Conference Center, Mafangshan Campus, Wuhan University of Technology
II. Symposium Themes
1.Innovation, development and practice of maritime science and technology;
2.Experience sharing by winners of CIN Navigation Science and Technology Award;
3.Formulation and development of maritime group standards;
4.Key points of CIN scientific and technological achievement evaluation management measures and science and technology award application;
5.Interactive academic exchanges.
III. Distinguished Guests
The symposium will invite leading officials including the President of CIN, the President of Wuhan University of Technology, and leaders from the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Transport. Speakers include academicians and experts awarded national and CIN science and technology prizes, guiding experts for CIN standardization work, and key administrators of the Navigation Science and Technology Award.
IV. Participants
Heads and supervisors of science, technology and information departments of relevant entities; project principals intending to apply for sci-tech achievement evaluation, sci-tech awards and group standards; sponsored talents of the maritime youth talent support program; and other sci-tech practitioners concerned with national sci-tech policies and incentives.
V. Registration
The registration fee is RMB 1,000 per person, covering materials, consultation and venue rental fees. Participants shall bear their own travel, accommodation and catering expenses. Please complete online registration and payment via QR code before April 6.
