川崎汽船船队将安装新型管理系统

   日本海运商川崎汽船株式会社在一份联合声明中称, 该公司将在其旗下营运和管理的船只上安装由川崎重工研发的“最优天气航线管理系统”。

 

      该系统为船舶运营方提供耗油量最低,同时也是最安全的航线。 它也是川崎汽船旗下K-IMS的一部分。

   K-IMS是一个应用面更加广的海事解决方案系统, 包括船对岸通讯系统,以及船舶营运管理,轮机状态监控和船舶性能分析等功能。

 

       在系统研发的过程中进行了船上测试, 结果显示,系统选择的航线其预计的耗油量与实务中的结果高度吻合,所以我们决定在船队上安装该系统。

 

       “通过安装该系统, 船舶运营的安全性将得到提升,同时通过节省燃油,它也将使运输更加经济和环保。”川崎汽船表示。“我们将继续致力于我们的愿景——通过各种尖端科技来为世界提供更安全,更高质量的运输服务”

'K' Line fleet to install new automated weather routing system

 

Ocean carrier Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha ("K" Line) will install Kawasaki Heavy Industries’ (KHI) “Optimum Weather Routing System” within its fleet of operated and managed vessels, the companies said in a joint statement.

   

The system provides vessel operators with the safest route with minimum fuel consumption and is part of "K" Line’s KAWASAKI Integrated Maritime Solution (K-IMS) developed in collaboration with KHI group. The system is slated for installation in 120 vessels by 2021, "K" Line said.

   

The K-IMS is a broader solution that ship-shore intercommunication system and has functions of operation management of ships, condition monitoring of engine plant, and ship performance analysis from the office.

   

On-board testing was utilized during system development and, as a result, “the estimated value of rolling, pitching and fuel consumption on the route selected by the system matched with in-service results with high accuracy that led us to the decision of installing the system to vessels in our fleet officially,” said K Line.

   

“By installing the system, beside the safety of ship operation will improve, it leads to economical and environmentally friendly operation by energy saving,” said "K" Line. “We will keep moving forward in achieving our vision of contributing to the society by safe and high quality service with various advanced technologies.”
