Notice on Carrying Out the Evaluation of Scientific and Technological Achievements in 2025

To all relevant units:
To further leverage the guiding role of scientific and technological achievements in the development of the maritime field, according to the “Regulations on the Evaluation of Scientific and Technological Achievements of China Institute of Navigation (CIN)” and the annual work plan, we hereby notify you of the relevant matters regarding the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements by CIN in 2025 as follows:
I. Acceptance Period
Applications for scientific and technological achievement evaluations are accepted throughout the whole year. The evaluation work of scientific and technological achievements by CIN is subject to the supervision and guidance of the National Office of Science and Technology Awards and China Association for Science and Technology. It will examine, evaluate scientific and technological achievements according to the prescribed procedures and requirements and issue technical certification documents. According to the relevant work arrangement for scientific and technological awards by CIN in 2025, projects that complete the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements by September 15, 2025 may apply for the China Navigation Science and Technology Progress Award and Technology Invention Award of the current year.
II. Acceptance Scope
The evaluation of scientific and technological achievements primarily focuses on research achievements in technology development, social welfare, and standards research. Scientific and technological achievements from scientific research institutions, universities, enterprises, institutions, or individuals that meet the criteria may apply. The projects applying for the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements must be non-confidential, and confidential projects will not be accepted. The same scientific and technological achievement can only be evaluated once in the same year and cannot be applied for evaluation by multiple units separately.
III. Submission Materials
Please log in to Science and Technology Service Information System of CIN at http://kjfw.cinnet.cn to download and understand the agreement, regulatory measures, and other relevant documents, then fill in the application as required. The system operation manual is attached.
