Notice on Call for Papers for the 2026 Asia Navigation Conference

To all relevant units:
The Asia Navigation Conference (ANC) is jointly initiated and hosted by the China Institute of Navigation, the Japan Institute of Navigation, and the Korean Institute of Navigation and Port Research. ANC 2026 will be hosted by the KINPR and held at the Busan Port International Exhibition & Convention Center in Busan, South Korea, from November 12 to 13. The call for papers is hereby officially launched. Details are as follows:

II. Submission Requirements
1. Chinese authors should submit their papers to the Secretariat of the China Institute of Navigation. Submissions must be original, completed works that have not been published previously, and must be free of academic misconduct, such as redundant submissions.
2. Please send both Word and PDF versions of the abstract (Appendix 1) and the full paper (Appendix 2) to the designated email address: anc2026@cinnet.cn by August 2, 2026 (Monday). The subject line of the email should be "ANC Submission - Paper Title." Upon submission, please complete the paper registration via the following link: https://f.wps.cn/g/PPhE9aDJ/.
III. Paper Acceptance
The Institute will organize an expert panel to review submitted papers. Notification of acceptance will be sent to authors in early September. Authors are required to seek approval from their respective units, submit a conference participation application to the Institute with an official unit seal, and attend the conference to present their work. Certificates of participation will be issued to authors of accepted papers who attend and present at the conference. Authors of award-winning papers will receive a cash prize. Authors of papers not selected for the conference may handle their manuscripts as they see fit upon receiving notification from the Institute.
IV. Registration and Participation
1. The registration fee is 300 USD for regular participants and 100 USD for students. Payment methods will be notified separately after papers are accepted and participation is confirmed.
2. The Secretariat of the China Institute of Navigation will organize the participation of Chinese authors whose papers are selected. The official language of the conference is English; participants must be capable of presenting and communicating their papers independently in English.
