On March 25, Cangzhou Maritime Bureau of Hebei Province signed a co- construction agreement with the Xiong’an New Area Construction and Transportation Administration Bureau and the Xiong’an Free Trade Pilot Zone Administrative Committee, planning to carry out a joint Party - building activity.
On the occasion of the 8th anniversary of the establishment of the Xiong’an New Area, the three parties further deepened their practical cooperation and jointly signed a co - construction agreement of Party-building. They are expected to adhere to the principles of “Party-building leadership, cooperation and co-construction, complement of advantages, and sharing of resources”, forging ahead with perseverance, and bravely assume responsibilities. They will give full play to their respective advantages and strengthen cooperation in such aspects as Party - building exchange and joint - learning promotion, deepening and improving the level of water - safety governance, optimizing the measures to serve the Xiong’an Free Trade Zone and the Cangzhou Linkage Innovation Zone, and deepening team exchanges. They will also make every effort to create regional “demonstration zones for co- construction of the Party, coordinated - linkage demonstration zones, and talent- cultivation demonstration zones”, and actively promote the construction of a convenient sea - outlet for the Xiong’an New Area in Huanghua Port and the construction of a multi - functional, comprehensive, and modern large - scale port.
The three parties also jointly carried out a theme Party-day activity. They retraced the path on which General Secretary Xi Jinping inspected Huanghua Port, reviewed Xi Jinping's earnest instructions, and deeply studied Xi Jinping’s important expositions on building a transportation - powerful country and on the construction of free - trade pilot zones, as well as the spirit of the Two Sessions. They also had in-depth exchanges on the implementation of the Measures for Maritime Services in the Transportation Construction of the Xiong’an New Area and the Integrated Development of Transportation in the Beijing - Tianjin - Hebei Region, the management of tourist boats, the supervision of inland - water areas, and the construction of intelligent waterways.
In the next step, the maritime departments in Hebei Province will take the co – construction of Part-building as an opportunity to deepen the docking and exchanges with the Xiong’an New Area, optimize service measures, assist in the water - safety governance of Baiyangdian and the implementation of the “Port - Area Connection” between the Xiong’an New Area and Huanghua Port, and contribute more to the high - standard and high - quality promotion of the construction of the Xiong’an New Area and the coordinated development of the Beijing - Tianjin - Hebei Region.
