Notice on Holding the 2025 Maritime Technology Innovation and Achievement Evaluation Seminar

To all relevant units：

The year of 2025 is the final year of the “14th Five-Year Plan” and also the year for planning the “15th Five-Year Plan”. In order to accelerate the self-reliance and strength of maritime science and technology, and drive to the high-quality development of the maritime industry and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, the China Institute of Navigation will hold the 2025 Maritime Technology Innovation and Achievement Evaluation Seminar on March 19-20. The relevant matters are notified as follows:

I. Time and Place:

1. Time arrangement: Registration on March 19, attending lectures in the morning of March 20, and having group discussions in the afternoon.

2. Training location: Dalian Maritime University (No. 1 Linghai Road, Dalian City)

II. Content of Seminar:

1. Interpretation of national science and technology policies;

2. Development and practice of maritime technology innovation;

3. Formulation and development of maritime group standards;

4. Sharing of experience in winning maritime science and technology awards;

5. Management regulations and application points for the evaluation of China’s maritime scientific and technological achievements;

6. Exchange and interaction.

III. Distinguished Guests:

CIN have invited leaders such as He Jianzhong, the chairman of the China Institute of Navigation and Shan Hongjun, the president of Dalian Maritime University to deliver speeches; the speakers include academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering who have won national science and technology awards and special awards of the China Institute of Navigation, researchers of national science and technology innovation policies, and senior experts who have won provincial and ministerial first prizes in science and technology for many times.

IV. Participants:

Technology and information managers or supervisors from member units; project leaders intending to apply for the 2025 evaluation of maritime science and technology achievements and maritime group standards; project leaders intending to apply for the 2025 China Navigation Technology Award; mentors involved in nurturing young talents in the maritime field; and other science and technology workers interested in maritime science and technology policies, funds, and awards.

V. Registration and Fees:

The training fee for this seminar is 1000 RMB per person (including course materials and meals), with transportation and accommodation costs to be covered by participants. Registration fees for mentors involved in nurturing young talents in the maritime field are covered by the Institute’s funds. Please fill out the registration form and make the payment before March 11.
