On the afternoon of March 26, executive vice president of CIN Zhang Baochen and his party, went to exchange views on the preparations for the 2021 World Maritime Science and technology conference in the International Science and Technology Exchange Center of the China Association for Science and Technology. Luo Hui, director of the Center, and relevant personnel of the international organization office attended the meeting.
Zhang Baochen introduced the general situation of CIN in international exchanges and cooperation, double first-class construction and think tank construction, expressed thanks to the Center for its strong support to CIN in participating the cooperation with the international navigational institution joint association and "theBelt and the Road" International Federation of port and shipping technology, and other international organizations, and hoped to get continuous strong support from the Center in the international exchange activities. Peng Yan, Deputy Secretary General of CIN, introduced the work plan of the 2021 World Maritime Science and technology conference.
Luo Hui said that CIN has made outstanding achievements in international cooperation, has done long-term and solid work in promoting Chinese scientists to serve in international organizations and relevant international cooperation, and has played an irreplaceable role in promoting the participation of the Maritime Science and technology community in international science and technology governance. She said that the Center will work with CIN to jointly hold the 2021 World Maritime Science and technology conference, promote the all-round opening up and cooperation in the field of Maritime Science and technology, and serve the innovation and development of science and technology, so as to build an international science and technology R & D community.
