Navigation of China Officially Indexed in the Scopus Database
Recently, the Editorial Office of Navigation of China received an official notification from Scopus, a product of Elsevier. Upon evaluation by the Content Selection & Advisory Board (CSAB), Navigation of China has been officially indexed in the Scopus database. This represents another major milestone in the journal's internationalization drive, following its inclusion in all key domestic core journal databases: the Peking University Core Journal List, CSCD and China Science and Technology Core Journals.
Developed and maintained by Elsevier, a world‑leading publishing and information analytics provider, Scopus is the world's largest peer‑reviewed abstract and citation database. It covers an extensive collection of journals across 27 major subject areas, 334 sub‑disciplines and 240 research fields.
At the end of 2025, taking the renewal of the Council of China Institute of Navigation, the journal's sponsor, as an opportunity, Navigation of China re‑established its new Editorial Board. Academician Yan Xinping, President of China Institute of Navigation, serves as the Chief Editor. Li Shixin, Executive Vice‑President of CIN, acts as the Director of the Editorial Board. The board consists of 8 Members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Chinese Academy of Sciences as Distinguished Editorial Board Members, 5 internationally renowned scholars as International Editorial Board Members, and a host of leading experts in navigation‑related disciplines as Editorial Board Members.
Moving forward, Navigation of China will take its inclusion in Scopus as a new starting point to continuously improve its academic quality and international publishing standards.
