Notice on the China Navigation Academic Conference 2025 and the Exchange of Annual Papers

To all relevant departments and authors who have submitted papers:
To advance self-reliance and strength in maritime science and technology and promote the spirit of navigation in the new era, the China Institute of Navigation (CIN) will hold the China Navigation Academic Conference 2025 from October 23 to 25, featuring academic paper exchanges and doctoral research presentations. The detailed arrangements are hereby announced as follows:
I.Time and Venue
Time: 23–25 October 2025
Venue: South Campus of the CPC Party School of the Ministry of Transport (Transportation Management Institute of the Ministry of Transport) (Address: 324 Xinggong West Street, Yanjiao Development Zone, Sanhe City, Hebei Province)
Theme:“Innovation Empowering Green, Low-Carbon and Smart Shipping”
II. Registration
1. Eligibility：1) Academic Paper Exchange: authors whose papers have passed the second review are listed in the attached file. 2) PhD Research Presentation: authors of PhD papers that have passed the first review will be invited by e-mail; a second call for papers remains open until September 15. Submission requirements are detailed in Notice on Soliciting Annual Papers for the 2025 China Navigation Academic Conference（Document of CIN [2025] No. 72.）.
2. All presenting authors must log in to the“2025 China Navigation Academic Conference” registration system and complete payment before 24:00 on September 26. Late registration will not be accepted. Registration portal: https://www.cinnet.cn/cinnet-pc-web/#/meetingHome/meetingHome。The conference operates on a paid-registration basis (the fee covers review costs and meals during the meeting). Each presenting speaker will be charged RMB 2,400 (RMB 2,000 for members of the Institute). Please be sure to remark the paper information in the【Invoice Information】field: for regular papers，add“Paper No.–Speaker’s name”, and for PhD presentations, add“PhD exchange–Speaker’s name”. Only one speaker per paper is allowed to present onsite, so that the organizers can verify the information.
3.Participants of the academic paper exchange will be awarded the "CIN Academic Presentation Certificate 2025". Through on-site exchanges and expert evaluation, papers will be selected as the "Conference Papers of the CIN Annual Conference 2025" and the "CIN Annual Outstanding Papers 2025". Doctoral students participating in the research outcomes exchange will be awarded the "CIN Annual Conference Recommended Presenter 2025". Unpublished papers of high quality will be recommended for priority publication in NAVIGATION OF CHINA or MARITIME TECHNOLOGY, or included in the Supplement of NAVIGATION OF CHINA—Proceedings of the CIN Annual Conference 2025.
III. Agenda
1.Conference Registration
Time: Afternoon of October 23
Location: Registration Desk, the First Floor, the Training Building, South Campus of the CPC Party School of the Ministry of Transport (Transportation Management Institute of the Ministry of Transport)
2.On-site Paper Exchange
Time: All day, October 24
Location: Training Classrooms, South Campus of the CPC Party School of the Ministry of Transport (Transportation Management Institute of the Ministry of Transport)
Content: Academic paper presentations will be organized into parallel sessions based on research fields, with a dedicated session for doctoral students' research findings exchange. Each paper must be presented using PPT and include a Q&A session.
3.CIN Annual Conference
Time: Morning of October 25
Location: Multi-purpose Classroom, Third Floor, Comprehensive Building, South Campus of the CPC Party School of the Ministry of Transport (Transportation Management Institute of the Ministry of Transport)
Content: The event will include leadership addresses, award announcements and presentations, expert lectures, and introductions to key research achievements.
IV. Participation Details
1．Authors registered for the academic paper exchange are also invited to attend the CIN Annual Conference. Accommodation will be centrally arranged at the South Campus of the Party School of the Ministry of Transport of the CPC (Transportation Management Institute). Please note that all accommodation and travel expenses are to be borne individually. Business casual attire is required during the conference. For any special requirements, please contact the organizing committee in a timely manner.
