On the afternoon of June 3, Yu Junqing, a member of the Leading Party Members’ Group of CAST's Party Leadership Group, conducted a research visit to the China Institute of Navigation and exchanged views with its leaders and secretariat personnel.
The symposium was chaired by He Jianzhong, President of the Council, who highlighted the institute's Party-building efforts. Executive Vice President Li Shixin reported on the institute’s overall development and future work plans. Deputy Secretary-General Peng Yan delivered a special report on the institute's science popularization initiatives.
Yu Junqing, a member of the Leading Party Members’ Group of CAST, affirmed the institute's work achievements and provided guidance on strengthening Party-building and science popularization initiatives. The participants also engaged in in-depth discussions on other relevant matters.
The symposium was attended by Ni Zhiyu, Director of the CAST Department of Science Popularization; Qian Yan, Party Committee Secretary and Deputy Director of China Science and Technology Museum; Liu Xin, Deputy Division Chief of the General Office at CAST Department of Science Popularization; Ma Chao, Deputy Director of the Exhibition Design Center at China Science and Technology Museum; Li Jiahao, staff member from the CAST General Office Secretariat; along with the institute's Executive Secretary-General Liu Shun, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Cao Di, and Deputy Secretary-General Liu Ying.
