On the afternoon of July 12, China Maritime Forum and Closing Ceremony of China Maritime Week 2024 was held in Tianjin Binhai New Area. At the meeting, it was announced that the main event of the China Maritime Day Week in 2025 would be held in Boao, Qionghai City, Hainan Province.

Yan Xiaobo, Secretary-General of China Institute of Navigation, announced the results of the paper exchange and selection of the China Navigation Academic Conference 2024. Over 130 authors of papers participated in the on-site communication and defense. After on-site evaluation by experts, 12 papers, including “Research on Key Technologies of Intelligent Deployment Operation of Buoys Based on Beidou Navigation Satellite System CORS High-precision Positioning”, were awarded the Best Papers, and 63 papers, including “Understanding and Discussion on Strengthening the Construction of Ship Teams”, were awarded Excellent Papers. In addition, at the closing ceremony, the organizing committee of the activity week also delivered plaques to more than 40 outstanding organizers, including the Water Transport Science Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport.
