From July 1 to 4, the knowledge updating project of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, "Professional Technology Transfer and Transformation Ability Improvement Class in the Field of Maritime Support", sponsored by China Association for Science and Technology and co-sponsored by China Institute of Navigation and Dalian Maritime University, was successfully held in Dalian. This study adopts the method of "on-site and online".
The opening ceremony was held on the morning of the 1st, presided over by Liu Shun, deputy secretary-general of the China Institute of Navigation. Yan Xiaobo, Secretary General of China Institute of Navigation, Zhao Youtao, Vice President of Dalian Maritime University and Chai Jinzhu, Vice Director of Tianjin Maritime Safety Administration attended and delivered speeches. From Dalian Maritime University, China Classification Society, Water Transport Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport, Rescue and Salvage Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, Tianjin Water Transport Engineering Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport, Beihai/Donghai/Nanhai Maritime Support Center of the Ministry of Transport, etc. A total of 118 middle and senior management personnel, professional and technical personnel and teachers from 26 maritime colleges and universities such as Shanghai Maritime University, Wuhan University of Technology and Jimei University participated in the training.
Secretary General Yan Xiaobo delivered an online speech on behalf of the China Institute of Navigation, and he introduced that the China Institute of Navigation and Dalian Maritime University have undertaken five such professional training courses for three consecutive years, which fully reflects the full affirmation of the China Association for Science and Technology to the training ability of the Institute and the maritime University, and the support of the Maritime University to the Institute. At the same time, he hopes that the students will fully apply the experience shared by the experts to their future practical work. He also took the opportunity to introduce the upcoming China Maritime Week to the participants.
On behalf of DMU, Vice President Zhao Youtao expressed his gratitude to the China Association for Science and Technology and the China Institute of Navigation for their care and support to DMU, and welcomed the participants from all units to participate in the training. He said that the school has successfully completed the Ministry of Education's new round of undergraduate education teaching audit and evaluation work, and is making every effort to promote the construction of "double first-class". At the same time, the school also hopes to take this training as an opportunity to build a bridge between the students and the units where the students are located, deepen cooperation in the future, and jointly make due contributions to serving and accelerating the construction of a transportation power.

The training course invited well-known experts from Tianjin Maritime Safety Administration, Tianjin University, Liaoning Maritime Safety Administration, Traffic Information Security Center and Dalian Maritime University to teach. By introducing the current situation and countermeasures of navigation support, intelligent supervision, and intelligent navigation support technology, the goal is to improve the students' navigation support policy research level, technology research and development ability and participation in international affairs, promote the establishment of relevant equipment, systems and technical standards, and jointly promote the international leadership and innovation level of navigation support.
