In order to thoroughly implement Outline of the Action Plan for improving the scientific literacy for All (2021-2035) and Guidance on Strengthening the Popularization of Science and Technology in Transportation of the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China, give full play to the resources of experts of CIN, popularization of science education bases, branches and local institutes of navigation resources, effectively mobilize the enthusiasm of relevant parties, and further improve the work of popularization of nautical science, The 30th General Meeting of the Board of Directors decided to establish the Nautical Science Popularization Committee of the China Nautical Institute; The 33rd General Meeting of the Board of Directors adopted the Rules of Work of the Nautical Science Popularization Committee (see Annex 1) and clarified the list of the first members of the Nautical Science Popularization Committee (see Annex 2) and the main points of work in 2022 (see Annex 3).
Under the management and guidance of the Institute, the popularization of nautical science working committee will assist in the special work of popularization of nautical science according to relevant work arrangements and requirements.
