He began to work in July 1981. He successively served as crew and section chief of Container Lines Department of Guangzhou Ocean Shipping Co., Ltd, as Head of Container Transportation Department of CIMC headquarters of COSCO, as container transportation consultant of Shanghai Haixing Shipping Co., Ltd., as Deputy General Manager, Member of Party Committee, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of Party committee of China Shipping Container Lines Co., Ltd., as Deputy General Manager and Party Leadership Group Member of China Shipping (Group) Company since 2016.
He graduated from CEIBS (China Europe International Business School ) with a master's degree.
