Notice on the China Navigation Academic Conference 2024 and the Exchange of Maritime Science and Technology Papers

To all relevant departments and authors who have submitted papers:
To promote self-reliance and strength in maritime science and technology and carry forward the spirit of navigation in the new era, the China Institute of Navigation(CIN) will hold the China Navigation Academic Conference 2024 and conduct an exchange of maritime science and technology papers from July 10 to 12, 2024, in Binhai New Area, Tianjin.
The Institute has organized a review based on the recommended papers, and authors of papers that have passed this review will be invited to participate in the paper exchange activities of the China Navigation Academic Conference 2024. The list of papers that passed the review is attached. Authors are encouraged to actively register and participate in academic paper exchange presentations. Excellent papers will be selected from those presented on-site and will be announced at the closing ceremony. These papers will be included in the special issue (supplement) of "Navigation of China " and the supplement of China Navigation, or recommend papers to be published in journals sponsored by China Institute of Navigation. Please find below the specific details and arrangements.

i. Opening Ceremony and Keynote Session of China Navigation Academic Conference 2024

ii. Maritime Science and Technology Paper Exchanges of Navigation Academic Conference
Time: July 10th -11th
Venue: Meeting Room 1, Tianjin Binhai One Hotel，Tianjin
Direction of paper exchanges: According to the theme of the collected papers, papers are divided into four groups. Each paper requires a PPT presentation and oral defense.
iii. Symposium on Cutting-edge Technologies for Green and Intelligent Development in Waterway Transportation of China Navigation Academic Conference
Time: July 12th @ 9:00 am-12:00 am
Venue: Multifunctional Hall, Tianjin Binhai One Hotel, Binhai New Area, Tianjin
Ⅳ. Registration
Participants in the paper exchange are requested to register and complete the payment via the “China Navigation Academic Conference 2024” registration system no later than 24:00 on June 21. Regrettably, we will be unable to accept late registrations.

The academic annual conference adopts a registration fee system (including the review fee and meal expenses during the conference). The registration fee for each participant in the academic presentation exchange is 2000 yuan, and the registration fee is 1600 yuan. Please make sure to note the "paper number" in the [Invoice Information] section for the conference staff to verify.
2.After registering and paying the fee, participants are requested to scan the QR code below to register their attendance information before June 30, 2024. Authors who sign up for academic paper exchanges can also participate in related activities of the China Maritime Week 2024. Accommodation will be arranged uniformly at Tianjin Binhai One Hotel (Address: 188 Jiafeng Road, Huanggang Leisure Residential Area, Binhai New Area, Tianjin). Hotel accommodation and transportation expenses are to be covered by the participants. During the conference, participants are requested to wear business casual attire. Please contact the conference affairs team in a timely manner if you have any special requirements.
