Notice on Holding the 2024 Maritime Science and Technology Innovation and Achievement Evaluation Training Course

To all relevant units:
In order to promote self-reliance and innovation in maritime science and technology, and to drive high-quality development in the maritime industry, the China Institute of Navigation will hold the 2024 Maritime Science and Technology Innovation and Achievement Evaluation Training Course from March 28th to 30th. The relevant details are as follows:
I. Training Time and Venue:
1. Time Schedule: Check-in on the afternoon of March 28th and morning of the 29th, lectures on the afternoon of March 29th and morning of the 30th, group discussions and closing on the afternoon of March 30th.
2. Training Venue: Dalian Maritime University (No. 1 Linghai Road, Dalian)
II. Training Content:
1. Interpretation of national science and technology policies;
2. Development and practice of maritime science and technology innovation;
3. Training and recommendation of maritime science and technology talents;
4. Sharing of experiences from recipients of National Science and Technology Awards/National Engineer Awards/Maritime Science and Technology Awards;
5. Regulations on the evaluation of Chinese maritime science and technology achievements and key points for application;
6. Exchange and interaction.
III. Lecturers:
CIN have invited academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering who have received National Science and Technology Awards and the highest awards of China Institute of Navigation, senior experts who have received the first National Engineer Award, planners of national science and technology innovation policies, senior experts who have received first-class science and technology awards at the provincial and ministerial levels, and key leaders of the China Institute of Navigation.
IV. Participants:
Technology and information managers or supervisors from member units; project leaders intending to apply for the 2024 evaluation of maritime science and technology achievements; mentors involved in nurturing young talents in the maritime field; and other science and technology workers interested in maritime science and technology policies, funds, and awards.
V. Registration and Fees:
The training fee for this session is 1500 RMB per person (including course materials and accommodation), with transportation costs to be covered by participants.
