The evaluation meeting for the 2023 China Institute of Navigation Science and Technology Award was held on December 15, 2023 in Beijing . The evaluation committee completed the review according to the relevant provisions, measures and procedures. And the results of the evaluation are now being publicly announced.
Ⅰ. In 2023, CIN received and accepted a total of 128 recommended declaration projects. Prior to the meeting, the Institute conducted the formal review on the completeness, standardization and authenticity of all declared materials, 112 preliminary projects passed the formal review, including 109 projects for Science and Technology Advancement Awards and 3 projects for Technological Innovation Awards.
Ⅱ. After evaluation by the professional review panel and the evaluation committee of the Chinese Institute of Navigation Science and Technology Awards, the For the Navigation Science and Technology Advancement Award, outstanding prizes, 15 first prizes, 37 second prizes, 23 third prizes, and 12 projects were postponed for evaluation, and 20 were not awarded. For the NavigationTechnological Innovation Award, 2 first prizes and 1 second prize were awarded. The detailed list of awarded projects can be found in the attachment.
Ⅲ. The evaluation processCIN science and technology awards accepts social supervision and operates under an objection system. Objections concerning the projects, results, contributors, contributing units, and the innovation, advancement, practicality, intellectual property rights, as well as the authenticity of recommended materials, including objections to the order of contributors and contributing units, should be submitted in written form to the Secretariat of CIN for review within 30 days from the date of the project announcement (public announcement period: December 19, 2023 - January 18, 2024). to acilitate verification and ensure objective and fair handling of objections, the unit or individual raising the objection should submit it in writing and indicate their real identity, provide valid contact information ,and necessary evidence. If the objection is made in the name of an individual, they should sign their real name, work unit, contact number, detailed address and signature on the written objection materials; if the objection is made in the name of a unit, the written objection materials should include the unit's name, contact person, contact information and be stamped with the unit's official seal. Any anonymous, be stamped with the unit's official seal or overdue objections will not be accepted.
