Notice on the Announcing the Winning Projects of the 2022 Science and Technology Progress Award/Technical Invention Award of China Institute of Navigation and the Issuance of the Award Certificates

The evaluation for Science and Technology Progress Award/Technical Invention Award of China Institute of Navigation (hereinafter: Science and Technology Award of China Institute of Navigation) 2022 was completed in early December. The evaluation result has been completed and publicized in accordance with the required procedures. It is approved that 112 projects, including "Research and Application of Key Technologies for Deep-water Channel Management in Shallow Shoals of Typical Estuaries in China", will be officially announced as the winning projects in 2022 (see Annexes 1 and 2 for the list). Relevant matters are notified as follows:
I. Project recommendation
According to the relevant provisions of the Science and Technology Award Measures of China Institute of Navigation, projects that have won the first prize of science and technology award of China Institute of Navigation or above will be reported by CIN to CAST and the Ministry of Transport and other competent industry departments, to be included in the candidate projects recommended for the State Technological Invention Award.
II. Achievements popularization
In order to increase the publicity of scientific research achievements and promote the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements, the first completion unit of each award-winning project is requested to fill in the "2022 Award-winning Project Statistics Form" (see Annex 3 for format) and submit a paper copy and an electronic file or USB disk to the group after the 10th.
III. The award certificates will be presented during the 2023 Maritime Day of China event (in principle, the certificates will be sent to the first completion unit and distributed by the first completion unit to the participating units and the person-in-charge) after we have received statistical table of the prize-winning projects submitted by the prize-winning unit. The way to receive the award will be notified.
IV. Each award-winning project unit may, according to its own situation and with reference to the relevant provisions of the science and technology awards, award appropriate prizes to the winners as an encouragement.
