China Institute of Navigation will hold the 2021 Annual Academic conference of CIN in Dalian from August 4 to 6, 2021, and hold the Exhibition of maritime science and technology achievements at the same time in order to serve the implementation of China's strategy of building a powerful country in transportation and shipping, and promote the sound development of maritime science and technology
About 400 people will attend the annual conference and science and technology exhibition, including leaders, experts and scholars from domestic maritime and ocean related governments, enterprises, universities and research institutes. Now projects and achievements are collected from all units concerned. Through the exhibition, it can expand the publicity of the new scientific and technological achievements of all units concerned, show the high level of science and technology, and reflect the strength of scientific and technological research and development.
Ⅰ. Exhibition arrangement
Time: August 4-6, 2021
Place: Dalian COSCO InterContinental Hotel (No.6, Youhao Plaza, Zhongshan District, Dalian, Liaoning, China)
Form:
Based on the exhibition site, all projects will be displayed on exhibition boards with a uniform size of 1.2 meters wide and 2.4 meters high. The content of projects should be concise, highlighting key points, illustrated with text, within 600 words, 2-3 pictures (size of 8M or over), and with its logo. Except for the board, CIN will produce a booklet matched with the board. Booklets will be distributed to each leader and guest attending the conference. Physical objects or models corresponding to the exhibition board are welcomed.
The opening ceremony of the 2021 Academic Annual Conference will be held on the morning of August 5. CIN leaders and guests will attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition. Each exhibitor is allowed to arrange one interpreter to introduce projects so as to report more specifically and vividly and communicate profoundly and directly. And the interpreter does not have to pay a registration fee.
Fees: 15,000RMB for each exhibition board + achievement exhibition booklet (including the cost of exhibition board and booklet production, which will be provided by the institute), and 5,000RMB for each set of exhibits or models.
Ⅱ. Scope of the projects
1. Achievements that won the second prize or above of Science and Technology Award of China Navigation Society from 2018 to 2020;
2. Marine scientific and technological achievements that have been listed in the Major Scientific and technological Innovation Achievements Database of the Ministry of Transport and have good market promotion and application prospects.
Ⅲ. Way of Application
Welcome all units conforming to conditions above to apply for the exhibition. Participating units are requested to e-mail the application and the scanned copy of the contract stamp version for the exhibition board (details in the attachment) to the Secretariat of CIN before June 25, 2021. And submit the content of the exhibition board and other related physical objects/models (including the sizes and photos) before July 4. As for the details about the exhibition, further contact will be made upon receiving application. One exhibition board shall be submitted as a compressed package named science and technology exhibition + unit name + serial number (multiple boards).
