Notice of Recommended Participants for the 2016 Sino-Japanese Maritime Society Conference

To all organizations concerned:

        Based on the agreement reached in 2015 by Japan and Korea Institute of Navigation delegations, the 2016 Sino-Japanese Maritime Society Conference is to be hosted by the Korean Maritime Harbor Society in November 2016, and in Korea from October to December.

        In order to promote regional maritime academic exchanges and scientific and technological progress, to facilitate China's maritime exchanges with other countries, and to build a learning platform for scientists and scholars in Asia, it was decided that participants to the 2016 Sino-Japanese Maritime Society Conference would be selected by recommendation. Specific matters are as follows:

        Recommended operating a 2016 Sino-Japanese Maritime Society conference attended by Chinese personnel in charge of the secretariat by the China Institute of Navigation;

        Second, to attend the conference should satisfy the following conditions:

  1. Authors to submit original and unpublished papers concerning oceans and waters associated with the theory and practice;
  2. Papers written in English and Chinese, and will be validated by experts of the community organization, its content and level appropriate at this meeting published;
  3. English listening and speaking proficiency, academic lectures and exchanges can be made;
  4. Able to attend the meeting, to comply with foreign affairs discipline, obedience business arrangements;
  5. We can afford to Korea for registration, transportation, accommodation and other costs;
  6. Allow the unit, and can provide the necessary guarantees for its participants.

        Third, invite interested participants of the authors in the English version and the paper version of the electronic paper (five copies), together with the participation application form (see Annex) filed May 20, 2016 to the Department of the Secretariat of the group of academic exchanges, electronically transmitting on the time;

        Fourth, the Chinese Institute of Navigation 2015 outstanding authors and China Institute of Navigation Members enjoy priority recommended qualifications; participants recommended papers will be included in the "China Outstanding Navigation Technology Proceedings (2016)";

        Fifth, we hope To concerned organizations to actively mobilize and recommend the unit staff involved, and make the necessary support for the work of the participants.
