Notice on Submitting the 2025 Work Summary of Maritime Science Popularization Education Bases and the 2026 Key Work Plan

To all maritime science popularization education bases,
To comprehensively summarize the science popularization work of each base in 2025, plan the science popularization work for 2026, facilitate the exchange and sharing of experiences and ideas, and enhance the capability and level of science popularization work, we are now organizing all maritime science popularization education bases to submit their 2025 science popularization work summaries and 2026 key work plans. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
1. Submission Content
1. 2025 Science Popularization Work Summary: An overview of the science popularization work completed in 2025, achievements made, as well as shortcomings, issues, and suggestions encountered during the work.
2. 2026 Science Popularization Work Plan: Focus on listing the science popularization activities to be held during important time periods such as the National Science and Technology Activity Week, National Science Popularization Month, and National Maritime Science Popularization Season, along with their implementation plans.
2. Submission Requirements and Notes
1. All bases are kindly requested to actively cooperate in the submission of materials for this reporting exercise. The summary should, as much as possible, highlight distinctive features, key achievements, and the effectiveness of the work carried out;
2. All data contained in the summary materials must be detailed, reliable, and accurate;
3.Please submit the “2025 Work Summary and Next-Year Work Plan Reporting Form for Maritime Science Popularization Education Bases” (see Annex 1), affixed with the official seal of the organization, in PDF format to the Academic Exchange Department of the China Institute of Navigation no later than 20 December 2025;
4.In accordance with the Administrative Measures for Maritime Science Popularization Education Bases of the China Institute of Navigation, any base that fails to submit its work summary and plan for two consecutive years will have its designation as a Maritime Science Popularization Education Base revoked.
