Notice on the Application for the 2025 Doctoral Special Program of the China Association for Science and Technology Young Scientific and Technological Talent Cultivation Project

To All Relevant Entities:
In accordance with the requirements outlined in the notice "On Launching the 2025 Doctoral Special Program of the China Association for Science and Technology Young Scientific and Technological Talent Cultivation Project" issued by the General Office of the China Association for Science and Technology, the work of recommending candidates for the 2025 Doctoral Special Program of the China Association for Science and Technology Young Scientific and Technological Talent Cultivation Project (hereinafter referred to as "the Program") is now officially launched. Relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
I. Application Requirements
The Program supports full-time doctoral students with Chinese nationality (born on or after August 31, 1995) who are, in principle, more than two years from their expected graduation date. Applicants must meet the following core criteria:
1. Love the motherland, abide by laws and regulations, possess good political integrity and a sense of national commitment, and have no record of misconduct in ethics or violations of laws or discipline.
2. Be diligent in study, uphold academic integrity, have no record of academic misconduct, and aspire to engage in long-term scientific and technological work.
3. The research direction of the doctoral program should have continuity, relevance, or interdisciplinary connections with the master's program. The field of study should focus on navigation and related areas, aligning with the needs of national major strategies, key fields, and weaker sectors.
II. Recommendation Channel
Channel Selection: National Society Recommendation - Engineering Societies - China Institute of Navigation (Recommendation Code: A910F4). Complete and submit through this channel.
III. Recommendation Procedures and Timeline
1. The Program operates via the "Doctoral Special Program Service Platform of the China Association for Science and Technology Young Scientific and Technological Talent Cultivation Project" (http://kecaihui-tm-zz.cast.org.cn/match-page/qtgc).
2. Candidates should visit the service platform, register an account, and log in. They must select the "Applicant" role, complete the online "Recommendation Form for the Doctoral Special Program of the China Association for Science and Technology Young Scientific and Technological Talent Cultivation Project", upload relevant supporting documents (including proof of achievements, award certificates, etc.), and select the "China Institute of Navigation" as one of their intended hosting institutions. Submission must be completed by November 15, 2025.
IV. Relevant Requirements
1. Candidates are responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of their application materials. Falsification is strictly prohibited. Any violations will result in disqualification from application and selection.
2. Upon completion of the cultivation period, an evaluation and assessment will be conducted for selected participants. Those with outstanding performance will be incorporated into the "CAST Youth Talent Promotion Association" for ongoing tracking and cultivation.
