Notice on Soliciting the Second Batch of Group standards of China Institute of Navigation in 2025

To all relevant units:
To meet the development demands of group standards in the navigation sector, thoroughly implement the Administrative Measures for Group Standards jointly issued by the National Standardization Administration and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and increase the effective supply of such standards, China Institute of Navigation (CIN) hereby launches the solicitation for the second batch of CIN group standards for 2025, in accordance with the requirements of the Measures for the Management of Group Standards of China Institute of Navigation.
- Application Principles
1. The application of group standards should be conducive to the promotion of the scientific and technological achievements in the maritime sector, especially in the fields of waterway transportation, engineering, construction, services and management, thus to bring about the economic, social, and ecological benefits.
2. The application of group standards should meet the requirements of relevant laws and regulations and may not have any conflict with the relevant state industrial policies and shall not duplicate or conflict with existing national standards (GB), industry standards.
3. The application of group standards should aim to meet market and innovation needs, focusing on new technologies, new industries, new business forms, and new models so as to fill the standards gaps.
4. The scope of application projects includes navigation safety, port engineering, logistics engineering, smart shipping, ship electromechanics, waterway engineering, nautical remote sensing, ship design, offshore engineering, environmental protection and ecology, navigation support, communication and navigation, ship salvage and diving, marine economy, passenger and cargo transportation, ship management, maritime management, crew management, water transportation management.
Ⅱ. Application requirements
- Any enterprises, institutions and social organizations with legal personality are eligible to submit project proposals.
- The main drafting units of the standards should have the business capabilities relevant to the contents of the standards.
- The main drafters of the standards should have professional technical knowledge, be familiar with the rules for standard writing, and possess strong organizational and coordination abilities as well as good writing skills.
- The units are encouraged to carry out collaboration with industries, universities, research institutes and end users in the development of standards .
- Before applying, relevant units can check whether there are already existing relevant standards through the “National public service platform for standard information” (https://std.samr.gov.cn/).
Ⅲ. Declaration materials
Applicant entities should log in to “CIN platform for group standard Information” (https://ttbz.cinnet.cn) and complete the on-line application by October 15th 2025. The platform user manual is attached.
