Recently, Tianjin Port Group Co., Ltd. and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. signed the Agreement on Strategic Cooperation (hereinafter the Agreement). With the goal of building a world-leading port, the two corporations will jointly achieve a port demonstration project through in-depth cooperation on top-level design of informatization. This means that a green, smart and prosperous hub port will be built, and in the meanwhile it will serve as an industry benchmark.
According to the Agreement, both corporations will strengthen the top-level informatization and smart port design cooperation. To achieve this goal, Huawei will provide necessary support for Tianjin Port Group to push forward business transformation and innovative development. Details are followed. Firstly, basic business cooperation between two sides will be promoted. Huawei will provide comprehensive and efficient services and solutions to information and communication technology for Tianjin Port Group. Secondly, cooperation in industry park will be enhanced. Both corporations will take full advantages of port park industry in Tianjin Port Group and Huawei’s smart park solutions, promoting the construction of smart port park jointly. Thirdly, innovation cooperation will be boosted. Based on their own strengths and cross-border integration, , Tianjin Port and Huawei will promote transformation and upgrading in port intellectualization jointly and incubate smart port solutions. Finally, cooperation in staff training will be strengthened. Programs of technological innovation and business management training will be conducted regularly, so as to lay foundations for all-round cooperation between the two corporations.
