This nationally coordinated exercise was hosted by China Maritime Search and Rescue Center and organized by Liaoning Maritime Search and Rescue Center. It featured the participation of more than 20 vessels from various units operating in the Bohai Bay region, simulating a coordinated response to a collision at sea between commercial and fishing vessels. During the drill, Yantai Salvage Bureau, acting on emergency response directives, efficiently deployed the “Yanjing Lifting No. 2 / Debin” vessel team along with its emergency diving unit to Beiliang Wharf in Dalian. The bureau conducted a series of simulated rescue operations, including: Rigging and pulling steel wires through the damaged vessel, Air rollover and righting operations, Inverted lifting and towing, Onboard rescue by divers, Underwater search and rescue operations. These efforts comprehensively demonstrated the professional capabilities and technical strength of China’s national salvage and rescue system in responding to maritime emergencies.
