From July 10th to 12th, one of the main events of 20th China Maritime Week, the Maritime Science and Technology /Education Achievement Exhibition, was simultaneously held at the Shimao Hilton Hotel in Tianjin Eco-City and Tianjin Binhai No.1 Hotel.
Li Xiaopeng, Secretary of the Party Member Group and Minister of the Ministry of Transport, Zhang Gong, Deputy Secretary of Tianjin Party Committee and Mayor, Huang Zhendong, former Secretary of the Party Member Group and Minister of the Ministry of Transport, and former Secretary of Chongqing Party Committee, and other leaders jointly visited the Maritime Science and Technology /Education Achievement Exhibition at the Hilton Hotel with guests from the main forum. They had on-site exchanges with exhibitors on new technologies and achievements in marine engineering, water transportation engineering, dredging engineering, shipbuilding engineering, and intelligent shipping.

A total of 71 exhibition boards and 20 lightboxes from 34 units, including five central enterprises such as China COSCO Shipping, China Merchants Group, and China Communications Construction Company, ten subordinate units such as China Classification Society, Rescue and Salvage Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, and Academy of Science of the Ministry of Transport, and eight well-known universities such as Dalian Maritime University, Shanghai Maritime University, and Wuhan University of Technology, were collected for this Maritime Science and Technology/Achievement Exhibition. The participating units covered major enterprises and institutions in the domestic navigation field.
The Maritime Science and Technology/Education Achievement Exhibition attracted many representatives from port and shipping enterprises, scientific research institutions, associations and other units. It successfully showed new achievements, products, and technologies in maritime science and technology and education in recent years, built a deeply integrated channel for government, industry, academia, research, and application, promoted innovation in maritime science and technology, popularized maritime culture, and enhanced the national navigation and ocean awareness.
