CIN Successfully Held the Training Course of Navigation Sci-Tech Award Application and Achievements Evaluation in 2021

   

On May 28, China Institute of Navigation (CIN) held a training course of Navigation Sci-Tech Award Application and Achievements Evaluation in order to help all units understand and master the relevant requirements of the newly revised Measures for the Evaluation and Reward of Sci-Tech Achievements of China Institute of Navigation and Measures for the Implementation of the Evaluation of Sci-Tech Achievements of China Institute of Navigation, to guide them to carry out the application and achievement evaluation of navigation sci-tech awards. The meeting was presided over by Yue Peng, director of the Sci-Technology Service Department of CIN, and deputy secretary general Liu Shun delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the Institute. 72 scientific and technological managers and technical researchers from more than 30 units in the field of navigation participated in the training course.

At the meeting, Zhang Huaqing, vice president of Tianjin Research Institute for Water Transport Engineering, and Zhu Jianhua, vice president of China Waterborne Transport Research Institute, respectively introduced the connotation and requirements of scientific and technological innovation in combination with examples of technological development or invention and major engineering projects, and examples of social public welfare and soft science projects. Hu Ya'an, director of Nanjing Hydraulic Research Institute, combined with the examples of award-winning projects of National Science and Technology Award and Navigation Science and Technology Award, shared the experience of Scientific and Technological Progress Award, Invention Award application and achievement evaluation. Sun dunping, an expert of the Science and Technology Service Department of CIN, publicized and interpreted the main requirements and precautions of the sci-tech award measures and achievement evaluation implementation measures of CIN, and director Yue Peng explained the evaluation requirements of the navigation Science and Technology Progress Award and Invention Award.

Through this training course, all units have strengthened their understanding of the relevant requirements of the evaluation and award measures for sci-tech achievements of CIN and the implementation measures for achievement evaluation, which has played a good guiding role in the application and achievement evaluation of navigation sci-tech awards of all units in the future.
