In order to enhance the understanding of the policies and overall work of Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Transport on Carrying Out the Assessment of Senior Professional Titles of Ship Professionals in 2020 by all applicant units, CIN organized and held the on-line arrangement meeting for the assessment and application of senior professional titles of professional and technical personnel of ships in 2020 entrusted by the maritime administration of the Ministry of transport on March 2. Zhangjunfeng, deputy director of Personnel and Education Department of maritime bureau of Ministry of transportation, Zhou Wei, researcher of crew management department, Yan Xiaobo, Secretary General of CIN, attended the meeting. The relevant personnel from 103 applicant units also attended the meeting, they are the Ministry of natural resources, COSCO maritime group, China Merchants Group, China Communications Construction Group, CNOOC, Rescue and Salvage Bureau of Ministry of transportation, Dalian Maritime University, China Pilot Association, some local institutes of navigation and pilot stations. Liu Shun, Deputy Secretary General of CIN, presided over the meeting.
Zhang Junfeng, deputy director, explained the relevant policies and specific requirements of the senior professional title evaluation work. Captain Qu Xiao, a member of CIN, gave relevant interpretations on the Basic Standards for Evaluation and the Notice; Zhang Junfeng, researcher Zhouwei and CIN answered online the relevant questions of each applicant unit, and requested them to summarize the problems encountered and submit after the meeting, and the Ministry of maritime administration and CIN will make a unified reply.
In the final concluding remarks, Secretary General Yan Xiaobo expressed his gratitude for the support of the Ministry of transport and maritime administration of the ministry for CIN, and ensured that CIN would bear the relevant responsibilities of the senior professional title evaluation work, and alsomade clear requirements for organizing the declaration work of the application units.
The 2020 senior professional title evaluation of ship series expanded the scope ofapplicants, added senior electronic officers, senior captain, chief engineer and senior pilot, and the new basic evaluation standards are different from the previous evaluation standards.
