On the morning of 10 November 2025, Mr. Zhu Yufeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chair of the Board of China Transport Press, led a delegation to China Institute of Navigation (CIN) and held discussions with Executive Vice-chairman Li Shixin and other CIN leaders.
The two sides reached consensus on co-organizing New Quality Productive Forces Development Forum for Ports & Shipping, high-quality preparation of the 2026 Port & Shipping Enterprise Development Forum, and the deepening of routine cooperation.

Li Shixin stated that China Transport Press has fully leveraged its role as an ideological, publicity and cultural platform, creating a favorable media environment for CIN to build a first-class national institute with Chinese characteristics of the world-class. He hoped that the Press will continue to support CIN’s high-quality development and provide even stronger backing for maritime scientific exchange, navigation knowledge dissemination and maritime-culture promotion.

Zhu Yufeng noted that CIN, as an important social force in advancing China’s maritime science and technology, has achieved outstanding results in boosting academic exchange, driving sci-tech innovation, fostering industry–academia integration and passing on maritime culture. He hoped that the two parties will further combine their respective strengths to create a frontier-results showcase platform, a digital-transformation practice exchange platform and a cooperation platform for cultivating new-quality productive forces, so as to tell China’s maritime story well and jointly promote the high-quality development in the country’s maritime sector.
