Huang Youfang, Director

Huang Youfang (born in 1959, Ph.D., Professor, doctoral supervisor) is the Director of CIN (China Institution of Navigation) and President of SMU (Shanghai Maritime University). He also holds Chief Director of Logistics Education Guidance Committee of Ministry of Education, Deputy Director of Expert Committee of Shanghai International Shipping Center, Vice President of China Society of Logistics, Dean of China (Shanghai) FTZ Supply Chain Research Center, Director of Container Supply Chain Technology Research Center of Ministry of Education, Vice Chairman of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, Academic Committee Chairman of Northeast Asia Logistics Society, the International Consultant of ITC and the standing Director of China Port Association. He was conferred with first prize of Shanghai Science & Technology Progress Award, and second prize of National Science & Technology Progress Award in 2003, second prize of National Science & Technology Progress Award, first prize of National employees’ Tech-Innovation, the receiver of Special Allowances of the State Council, the Dawn Award of Shanghai Education Fund in 2005, first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of CFLP in 2006, and honored as the China Logistics Expert with Outstanding Contributions, one of the Top 10 Influential Persons in 2010 in Logistics Times, Top 10 Influential Persons in China Shipping. He has published over 200 papers and books internationally and has delivered more than 100 reports and addresses. He has completed about 100 national, provincial and enterprise-designated projects, either in charge or in lead.
