Letter on the Collection of Opinions on Science and Technology Award of CIIN (Revised Draft)

Maritime science and technology award has played an important role in promoting and safeguarding the development of China's maritime industry since Science and Technology Awards of CIN was established and Measures for Science and Technology Award of CIN was launched in 2002 and the latter was revised in 2012. As China's economic and social and scientific and technological undertakings develop, the national science and technology reward systems and regulations continue to improve, the management of local and social forces to establish science and technology award is also increasingly standardized. Given that Science and Technology Award of CIN need to better serve the promotion of maritime technological inventions, the popularization of maritime science and technology, the growth of maritime scientific and technological talents, the construction of high-level innovation teams, and the promotion of enterprise and grassroots innovation, the award scheme also needs to be improved and to keep pace with the time. So CIN decided to revise the award measures issued in 2012.
Measures for Science and Technology Award of CIN (Revised Draft) deliberated by the Chairman’s Office of Fourth Meeting of the 9th Council is now print and distributed to you. Please send your written comments to the Secretariat of CIN before April 10 so as to submit them to the First Standing Council of the Ninth Council for deliberation and approval to get them implemented.
