Notice on Application for 2024 Open Academic Activities Program

All professional committees of China Institute of Navigation(CIN) :
In 2023, the Institute gave full play to the professional advantages of the branches, coordinated the development of open academic activities plan, the special committees and supporting units jointly held open academic exchange activities with strong professionalism, prominent focus and distinctive characteristics and received good results. 2024, the Institute will further cohesion of multi-party synergies, and actively co-ordinate the academic activities of the branches, to create a synergistic linkage of academic exchange platform.
Therefore, all professional committees are invited to plan for open academic events in 2024, and each committee should organize at least one such activity. Please fill in the "Open Academic Activities Program Summary Form 2024 " (see Attached Files) and return it by the end of the day on 22 January. High-quality open academic activities scheduled during the China Maritime Week (July 8-14) will be included in the China Navigation Academic Conference 2024 on the basis of merit, giving full play to the autonomy of each organization, with no restriction on the location (not required to be concentrated in Tianjin). The Institute's Secretariat will coordinate the formation of the Institute's annual open academic activities plan, which will be published after approval by the Council Meeting of CIN, and will organize a comprehensive evaluation of academic activities before the end of the year, and the results of the review will be included in the annual branch appraisal.
