Document of CIN [2023] No.128

To all relevant units:

The 2023 China Maritime Day National Navigation Science Popularization Knowledge Contest was held on July 14th in Cangzhou, Hebei Province. The contest was jointly hosted by the China Institute of Navigation and the National Committee of the Chinese Seamen & Construction Workers’ Union. All member units selected their own representatives, sending 16 teams comprising a total of 48 outstanding members to participate in this navigation knowledge contest.

During the intense competition between the teams, participants not only gained an understanding of maritime knowledge but also strengthened their confidence and beliefs in building a strong maritime and shipping nation. This event promoted the popularization of maritime knowledge, enabling more members of the public, the young people in particular, to understand China's maritime culture. It also encouraged active learning about navigation and ocean knowledge, further improving the overall navigation scientific literacy of the public.

To encourage teams for their outstanding performance and to further stimulate their enthusiasm for continuous participation in navigation science popularization knowledge contests, we are pleased to announce the award-winning team list for the 2023 China Maritime Day National Navigation Science Popularization Knowledge Contest (see Attachment 1).

We hope that all award-winning teams will continue to build upon their achievements, cherish their honors, make continuous efforts, and achieve even greater success.
