The Second Notice On Soliciting Papers For 2023 Asia Navigation Conference

Asia Navigation Conference (abbreviated as “ANC”) is co-sponsored by China Institute of Navigation, Japan Institute of Navigation and Korea Institute of Navigation and Harbor. It has been successfully held for 21 sessions since 2002. ANC 2023 will be organized by Korea Institute of Navigation and Harbor. On 24 April, Korea Institute of Navigation and Harbor has issued the Notice on Soliciting Papers for 2023 Asia Navigation Conference (China Institute of Navigation, No. 57 [2023]).
According to the latest notice of the ANC Organizing Committee, the specific matters of the conference are updated as follows:
I. Conference theme:
Digitalization of shipping and ports
II. Scope of submission (see Attachment for details) :
Navigation, Ship Maneuvering, Seafarer Education;
Marine Technology and Marine Structure;
Modern Marine Engineering Management;
Electronics and Information Technology in Shipping Industry;
Automatic Control and Cargo Handling Equipment;
Maritime Education and Training;
Port Construction and Coastal Area Development;
And other content related to navigation technology.
III. Requirements for the essay::
1. The papers submitted by domestic authors should be original and unpublished works of the authors, free of academic misconduct and multiple submissions;
2. Domestic authors should submit their papers to the secretariat of China Institute of Navigation, and the Institute will submit them to the secretariat of Korea Institute of Navigation and Harbor.
3. Before August 15, 2023, please send the full text of the paper (word file) in both Chinese and English to wangyan@cinnet.cn. Please refer to Attachment 1 and 2 for the template, and the subject of the email is “ANC Submission - Paper Title”.
IV. Acceptance of papers
The Institute will organize experts to review the submitted papers, and the acceptance notice will be sent to the authors in late September. Chinese papers accepted and discussed in the exchange will be awarded certificate by the Institute. The authors of the winning papers will receive a prize and be recommended for publication in partner journals after the conference. Papers that are not accepted may be disposed of by your own after receiving the notice from the Institute.
V. Conference registration
The official language of the conference is English, and delegates are required to present their papers in English independently.
