In order to promote the cooperation of port and shipping science and technology development among countries and regions, and to build a platform for international science and technology cooperation, the China Institute of Navigation (CIN), together with relevant units in the field of port and shipping at home and abroad, jointly initiate the establishment of International Technology Alliance for Port & Shipping (ITAPS). The inaugural meeting of ITAPS and the Green Port and Shipping Symposium will be held on December 10, 2022, 15:00-17:00 (Beijing time) through ZOOM online meeting. The Green Port and Shipping Symposium is an open meeting (15:50-17:00), and you are welcome to participate in it. Arrangements are as follows:

Inaugural meeting of ITAPS (15:00-15:50)

1. The host will introduce the meeting arrangement and the attending guests.
2. The CIN President will announce the establishment of ITAPS and deliver a speech.
3. The host will announce the list of ITAPS members.
4. Hilal, President of Arab Institute of Navigation, will deliver a speech.
5. ZHAO Ruheng, Vice President of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, will deliver a speech.
6. Review and adopt the constitution of ITAPS.
7. The provisional executive committee members will be elected and publicized.
8. President of ITAPS will deliver a speech.
Phase II
Green Port and Shipping Symposium (15:50-17:00)

2. LIU Xiaofeng, Deputy General Manager of China Technology Center of DET NORSKE VERITAS (DNV): DNV’s achievements in technology research and development and cooperation in green shipping.
3. ZHU Jianhua, Vice President of China Waterborne Transport Research Institute: the development trend of green port and shipping science and technology.
4. Professor Mee Mee SOE, Myanmar Maritime University: Main achievements and applications of green port and shipping technology research and development in Myanmar.
