Notice on Naming Four Units as the National Marine Science Popularization Education Bases of China Institute of Navigation including Changsha University of Science and Technology Smart Green Water Conservancy Teaching and Research Base

After the approval of thirty-first, thirty-sixth and thirty-eighth Council Conference of CIN, the fourth session of the ninth council meeting and the fourth session of the ninth standing council meeting considered and passed that the following four units are officially named as the National Marine Science Popularization Education Bases of China Institute of Navigation after public announcement. They are Changsha University of Science and Technology Smart Green Water Conservancy Teaching and Research Base, Liaoning Maritime Bureau Crew Examination Center, the Navigation Culture and Science and Technology Popularization Education Base of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Marine Science Education Base of the Southern Ocean Laboratory.
CIN will award the certificate and the nameplate of National Marine Science Popularization Education Base to each of the four units. The certificates and nameplates will be produced by the CIN and the base designation will be valid for five years.
The four bases are invited to give full play to their service advantages, resource advantages and unique roles in accordance with the Administrative Measures of Marine Science Popularization Education Base of CIN. They will actively carry out effective nautical science popularization education activities for society and the public, and make positive contributions to promoting the spirit of navigation, enhancing the influence of nautical science and technology, and improving the quality of science for all.
