In the afternoon of July 11, the opening ceremony of the 2022 Annual Academic Conference of China Institute of Navigation was successfully held in Dalian, Liaoning Province, where Yan Xiaobo, Secretary General of CIN, officially released Graded Catalogue of High-Quality Scientific and Technical Journals in the Field of Navigation
In order to thoroughly implement the Opinions on Deepening Reform to Cultivate world-class Sci-Tech Journals issued by China Association for Science and Technology, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology, under the unified deployment and overall arrangement of CAST, and led by CIN, after setting up an expert committee, formulating implementation measures, selecting journals for evaluation, initial evaluation, re-evaluation, final evaluation, voting by all experts of the expert committee, and publicity, 27 high-quality Chinese and 15 English sci-tech journals in the field of navigation were finally selected to be included in Graded Catalogue of High-Quality Scientific and Technical Journals in the Field of Navigation. There are three levels from high to low: T1, T2 and T3 (T1 level is the maritime science and technology journals with or close to the top level at home and abroad, T2 level is the famous maritime science and technology journals with high level at home and abroad, and T3 level is the high quality maritime science and technology journals recognized by the academic community at home and abroad), including 9 Chinese journals of T1 level, 9 of T2 level and 9 of T3 level, 6 of T1 level, 5 of T2 level and 4 of T3 level in English.
