Notice on the Counting of the Participants to Attend the Magnetic Compass Calibration Personnel Training Course in the Year 2022

Each magnetic compass technical service division:
In order to stabilize the team of magnetic compass calibration technicians and ensure the sustainable development of magnetic compass technical service, according to the work schedule of the Magnetic Compass Technical Service Department of CIN, the "2022 Magnetic Compass Calibrator Training Course" is planned to be held in mid-August 2022. The relevant notice is as follows:
1. training contents
The training shall be carried out according to the relevant requirements of the calibration personnel examination of Measures for Examination of Magnetic Compass Calibration Personnel of the People's Republic of China.
2. the training time and place
(A) time: to be determined (The class is initially planned to start in mid-August in 2022, about 10 days).
(B) venue: to be determined.
3. registration requirements
Any person who meets the relevant conditions of Measures for Examination of Magnetic Compass Calibration Personnel of the People's Republic of China, complies with the Institute's regulations on magnetic compass technical services, and is willing to engage in magnetic compass calibration services, can voluntarily apply for training through the relevant magnetic compass technical services division. Specific conditions are as follows:
(1) magnetic compass calibration personnel
(a) No less than 3 years' working experience in piloting a ship with a gross tonnage of 500 tons or above or relevant professional teaching or management experience.
(b) Under the age of 60 and in good health.
(2) magnetic compass calibration personnel
(a) Having intermediate or above professional technical qualifications for ship navigation.
(b) Holding a valid magnetic compass calibration personnel certificate and having worked as magnetic compass calibration personnel for not less than 3 years.
(c) During his service as a magnetic compass calibrator, he has calibrated at least 50 ships.
(d) Under the age of 60 and in good health.
4. application materials (preliminary)
(1) magnetic compass calibration personnel:
(a) a copy of the ID card.
(b) a copy of the crew service book, or a certificate of teaching experience in the corresponding profession (including magnetic compass) with official seal, or a certificate of management experience in the corresponding profession (including magnetic compass) with official seal.
(2) magnetic compass calibrator
(a) a copy of the ID card.
(b) a copy of the intermediate professional title certificate (or chief officer or shipmaster certificate).
(c) a copy of the magnetic compass calibrator certificate.
5. Related fees
(1) Training fee: RMB￥3800 (including the cost of training, materials, classrooms, lectures, etc.).
(2) Transportation and accommodation costs: at one's own expense (For epidemic prevention and control, unified centralized management is required).
Please each local magnetic compass technology services division is responsible for organizing the registration work within the jurisdiction. According to magnetic compass calibration personnel test registration, you should review qualifications of personnel who apply for training as required. Electronic files of the statistical results and the application materials(preliminary) should be submitted to magnetic compass technical services department of CIN before May 31, 2022.
