Notice on Eight Practical Work for Member Services of CIN in 2022
All member units and individual members:
In order to implement the Opinions on Further Improving Member Service of CIN, keep improving service for the members, promote the quality of member service, CIN will carry out the following eight practical work in 2022:
1.Implement the collective application for individual membership in all member units. Each member unit can organize the individual who meets the membership requirements to apply to the Institute's secretariat collectively for membership procedures.
2. Continue to carry out membership fee discount activities. With the approval of CIN's Secretariat, student members who apply to join the institute by collective application through their units will receive a two-thirds of the membership fee discount, and the non-student members can enjoy half of the membership fee discount.
3.Jointly build a home for marine science and technology workers. CIN and member units will jointly build a home for marine science and technology workers, build an entity platform that provides members with a full range of services, so as to establish a place for members to communicate and exchange, to learn and be trained, and to carry out science popularization and publicity activities.
4. Provide scientific and technological training for member units.
With member units as service targets, we organize and carry out training services in various aspects such as scientific research quality, scientific and technological evaluation, group standards, and declaration of nautical science and technology awards to enhance the ability and business level of member units and relevant management personnel and business backbone.
5.Provide convenience for members to participate in academic activities of CIN. Expand the scope of academic exchanges and the scale of academic paper collection, under the same conditions, recommend members to participate in international and domestic academic exchanges and provide more opportunities for members to publish papers and participate in the competition; expand online academic exchange platform and channels, facilitate members to attend meetings remotely, and provide relevant academic information, and materials timely.
6.Members who participate in paid academic exchange activities and apply for scientific and technical evaluation organized by CIN will continue to enjoy preferential rates.
7.Members who have paid full membership fee will receive Navigation of China and Maritime Technology for free. Members will enjoy a discounted review fee if they contribute to these two journals.
8.CIN's official website and official Weibo account will set up a "Member Window" to timely release the news of the developments of scientific and technological achievements, important innovations, major academic exchanges and advanced models of member units.
