In accordance with the requirements of the "Notice of the General Office of the China Association for Science and Technology on Soliciting Nominations for Important Academic Conferences for 2025" (CAST Office Letter - Innovation [2025] No. 51), the society organized an expert review meeting. It has been tentatively decided to include the following five academic exchange activities in the list of important academic conferences for 2025 to be submitted to the China Association for Science and Technology. The list is now publicly announced as follows:
1. China Maritime Day Forum 2025
2. China Navigation Academic Conference 2025
3. Symposium on the Development of New Quality Productive Forces in Shipping
4. Navigation Science and Technology Youth Forum
5. The 12th China International Salvage & Rescue Forum
The public comment period lasts for five working days, from November 24 to November 28, 2025. Any organization or individual wishing to raise an objection to the proposed list must submit a formal, written statement to China Institute of Navigation (CIN). The statement must include verifiable contact details.
- For organizations: The submission must be on official letterhead and bear the organization's seal；
- For individuals: The submission must be signed with the
individual's legal name and include valid contact information.
