On April 14, a delegation led by Zhou Guodong, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of China Water Transport News, visited the China Institute of Navigation (CIN) to discuss the deepening of cooperation in industry publicity, journal publishing and other key areas. Li Shixin, Executive Vice President of CIN, and relevant department heads received the visitors.

Zhou Guodong emphasized that as a mainstream industry media platform, China Water Transport News is committed to leveraging its advantages in industry communication, information dissemination, public opinion management, academic exchange and achievement promotion. He expressed willingness to work with CIN to foster a positive environment for the high-quality development of the shipping industry. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on journal development strategies, content innovation planning and new media platform construction.

Li Shixin noted that China Water Transport News is one of the most authoritative media in China’s shipping sector, with an excellent track record in policy interpretation and cultural dissemination. CIN looks forward to strengthening collaborative mechanisms with the newspaper in major event coverage, academic achievement promotion, journal publishing and science popularization. He called for exploring new models of coordinated development to better serve the construction of a Transportation Power and Maritime Power.
Both sides agreed to establish a closer cooperative relationship, focusing on resource sharing and complementary advantages to jointly promote the high-quality development of China’s shipping industry.
