On the afternoon of March 26, Wang Tao, Party Secretary of China Academy of Transportation Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Academy), and Pan Fengming, Vice President, visited the China Institute of Navigation for an exchange meeting with Li Shixin, Executive Vice President of the China Institute of Navigation, and relevant leaders from the Secretariat.
At the meeting, Party Secretary Wang Tao expressed gratitude on behalf of the Academy for the long-term support from the Institute. He highlighted the business development of the Academy. Secretary-General Liu Shun introduced the current business development of the Institute and the cooperation between the two sides. Relevant business department heads from both sides engaged in work discussions and exchanges.
Wang Tao stated that the Academy would fulfill its responsibilities as a member unit, actively participate in the Institute's work and activities, continue the good cooperation in the field of group standards, rely on the professional advantages and research foundation of the academy, continuously provide standardized technical services to the Institute, and promote cooperation in innovation, research and development, achievement transformation, and talent cultivation, jointly contributing to the high-quality development of China's water transport industry.
Li Shixin, Executive Vice President of the Institute, expressed gratitude for the long-term support from the Academy for the Institute's work. He pointed out that the two sides had a solid foundation for cooperation and broad prospects. He hoped to take this exchange as an opportunity to further unite development efforts and work hand in hand, especially in deepening exchanges and cooperation in areas such as expanding group standard services, providing advice from high-end think tanks, and collecting and analyzing water transport data, jointly empowering industry transformation and upgrading, and serving the construction of a transportation powerhouse and a shipping powerhouse.
