On the afternoon of March 13, 2026, Secretary-General Liu Shun of the China Institute of Navigation (CIN) and his delegation visited Tongji University for exchanges. Zhang He, Vice Dean of the Science and Technology Research Institute, Ling Jianming, Dean of the College of Transportation Engineering, and Xiao Junhua, Vice Dean of the College of Transportation Engineering, among others, participated in the symposium and exchanges.
At the meeting, Secretary-General Liu Shun introduced the work progress of the CIN in areas such as organizational development, academic exchanges, talent support, evaluation of scientific and technological achievements, award applications, standard formulation, and the development of scientific and technological journals. He stated that the Institute has continuously built a high-level academic exchange platform centered around maritime technology and talent cultivation, forming a relatively complete work system.
Vice Dean Zhang He, Dean Ling Jianming, and others welcomed Secretary-General Liu Shun's visit and introduced the overall situation of Tongji University, as well as its recent scientific research work and achievements in university-enterprise cooperation. They expressed that Tongji University will continue to support and participate in the various scientific and technological service activities of the Institute.
Both sides reached a consensus on jointly promoting the innovative development of maritime technology and formed cooperation intentions in areas such as talent recommendation, project matching, standard development, and achievement evaluation.
