On the afternoon of March 10, 2026, Yan Xinping, President of the China Institute of Navigation (CIN), accompanied by Secretary-General Liu Shun, Deputy Secretary-General Peng Yan, and Deputy Secretary-General Yue Peng, visited China Communications Construction Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CCCC"). Yang Zhichao, Member of the CCCC Party Committee and Vice President, Zha Changmiao, Executive Director of the Party Work Department, Ma Jun, Deputy General Manager of the Human Resources Department, Wang Zhen, Deputy General Manager of the Market Development Business Division, and Liu Feng, Deputy General Manager of the Science, Technology, Digitalization, and Equipment Business Division, participated in the symposium.

Both parties reviewed their history of exchanges and cooperation in various fields in recent years, engaged in in-depth discussions on jointly hosting the 2026 China Maritime Day Forum, and conducted practical discussions on key cooperation directions such as jointly promoting maritime technological innovation, research and development, and the application of research findings, as well as the recommendation and cultivation system for industry talents. Both parties also focused on the pain points of industry development and engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on hot technological issues widely concerned by the Group and the industry, including the application of river-sea combined transport vessel types, safety management of water operations, port facility construction planning, and optimization of the inland waterway transportation system.
Chairman Yan Xinping stated that the Institute will continue to deepen its close cooperation with CCCC, fully leverage the platform resource advantages of the Institute, actively promote and disseminate the outstanding achievements and advanced experiences of CCCC in the fields of maritime and transportation construction, assist in addressing practical technological bottlenecks faced by industry development, and join hands with CCCC to inject new impetus into the construction of a transportation powerhouse and a maritime powerhouse.
