On December 1, the National Exhibition of major transportation projects — “New Infrastructure, Major Projects”, sponsored by the Policy Research Office of Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China and the Highway Bureau, was held on the first floor of the Ministry building. Vice minister of Ministry of Transport Liu Xiaoming, chief engineer Wang Yang attended and visited the exhibition.
In order to effectively promote the achievements of “new infrastructure and new urbanization initiatives and major projects” in the field of transportation, especially the major projects, the Policy Research Office of the Ministry, together with the Highway Bureau, established the “Publicity linkage mechanism of major transportation projects”. Based on the 25 major projects under construction of the mechanism members, they successively exhibited thematic chapters such as “Huacai Dawan District ”, “Xiong’an Speed”, “Poverty Alleviation”, “Rainbow of Yangtze River” and “Wings of High Speed”, and comprehensively displayed the highlights and construction achievements of major projects through graphic boards, video screenings, interactive experiences and other forms.
With the theme of “Huacai Dawan District”, the exhibition showed projects under construction in Dawan District, such as Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, Shenyang-Haikou Expressway reorganization and expansion, Huizhou-Qingyuan Expressway and Huangmaohai Cross Sea Passage, recording history with words, framing excitement with lenses and restoring the scene with videos. The exhibition was not only a centralized display of the development achievements of traffic engineering construction, but also an incentive to inspire the national traffic major projects under construction based on the tide of the times, to make greater contributions to serve the construction of a new development pattern, to support major national development strategies, and to fuel national economic growth.
