According to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB)Authority, the dedicated cloud platform for the “integrated application of intelligent operation and maintenance technology of HZMB” will be completed by the end of December. The project is based on data storage, sharing, management and query requirements of the cloud application mode, forming an integrated platform to support the integration and sharing of bridge business information resources, multi-source heterogeneous data processing and services.
It is understood that after six years of preliminary preparation and nine years of construction, the HZMB has left behind a large number of engineering files that can be drawn upon, refined and summarized, including archival data from engineering studies, preliminary design, construction drawing design, construction process, supervision, consulting, third-party testing and measurement data, scientific research, and project management. At present, these archival documents, about 23,000 volumes, have basically been organized in the standard and format of project completion and acceptance, including text documents, drawings, videos, audios, internal publications, official publications and other structured and unstructured data. During the construction period, the technology of each bid section of the project has set a number of the world’s best, and more than 500 patents have been applied. Sorting out, refining and summarizing the historical data in the process of construction is of great significance for creating industry standards, especially for the future cross-island tunnel cluster project construction.
At present, the HZMB is still in trial operation. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Authority has put forward the operation goal of building digital bridge and intelligent operation and maintenance. It has undertaken the special task the “integrated application of intelligent operation and maintenance technology of HZMB” of the Ministry of Science and Technology in the areas of main structure perception (structure monitoring), civil and mechanical and electrical maintenance, traffic organization (emergency response), Zhillian platform, etc. The dedicated cloud platform construction project for this service will be started in September this year.
