China Institute of Navigation Held Knowledge Training Session on Group Standardization in 2023

       

In order to further strengthen the construction of the standard system in the field of navigation in 2023, better implement the requirements of the National Standardization Development Outline and the Opinions on Promoting the Standardization and Quality Development of Group Standards and other documents, and comprehensively enhance the participation capacity and level of relevant units in the preparation and revision of group standards of navigation, the China Institute of Navigation held an online knowledge training session on group standardization on April 17. .

Wang Wei, Director and Wang Wei, Deputy Director of the Standard Center of the Academy of Science of the Ministry of Transport were invited to give lectures and exchanges at the session. The session was presided over by Liu Shun, Deputy Secretary General, and a total of 150 members attended.

Secretary general Yan Xiaobo attended the session and delivered a speech. He said that the standardization is an effective way to build industrial governance system and enhance the level of modernization of governance, and it has far-reaching significance to accelerate the construction of China’s maritime and transportation power. The Institute attached great importance to the work of group standards, while making strict control over the standard project, consultation, technical inspection and several other major aspects to improve the Institute’s service capacity and level on group standards.

At the session, Director Wang Wei gave a detailed introduction to the requirements of the format of group standard writing, the rules of writing and problems in the preparation of group standard text in accordance with GB/T1.1-2020. Deputy Director Wang Wei gave an in-depth explanation on the current national standardization policy and the development of standardization in the field of navigation.

After the session, the participants expressed that they benefited a lot and effectively improved their understanding of group standard policy and the ability to write group standard text, which laid a good foundation for the subsequent declaration of group standards.
