The journals sponsored by the China Institute of Navigation(CIN) include Navigation of China and Marine Technology (hereinafter referred to as the “two journals”). After being selected into the T1 and T2 levels of the Classification Catalog of High Quality Scientific and Technological Journals in the Field of Navigation by the China Association for Science and Technology in 2022, Navigation of China was again selected into the “China’s Core Scientific and Technological Journals” in 2022.
The “China’s Core Scientific and Technological Journals”, also known as the “Statistical Source Journals of Scientific and Technological Papers in China”, published by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China, has been selected with high authority through strict peer review and quantitative evaluation. It is currently recognized as the directory of scientific and technological statistical source journals in China, and has been widely used by scientific and technological management departments and academia. The directory is published in November-December every year.

Navigation of China(CN 10-1741/U ISSN 1000-4653), founded in 1965, is a high-end platform for top academic exchanges, cutting-edge scientific research, advanced technological innovation and cutting-edge information dissemination in navigation sponsored by the China Association for Science and Technology and the CIN. It has been listed as the core journal of transportation in the Overview of Essential Chinese Core Journals of Peking University Library. Meanwhile, it has been listed as the source journal by the core database (extended database) of the China Science Citation Database(CSCD), and selected as the T1 level of the Classification Catalog of High Quality Scientific and Technological Journals in the Field of Navigation by the China Association for Science and Technology.
Marine Technology(CN 10-1744/U ISSN 1006-1738) was first published in September 1979. It is an authoritative platform for advanced academic exchange, applied scientific research, innovation and application of engineering and equipment technology, advanced navigation culture and dissemination of important scientific and technological information in the field of navigation, which is supervised by China Association for Science and Technology and sponsored by CIN. It was selected into T2 level of the Classification Catalog of High Quality Scientific and Technological Journals in the Field of Navigation of China Association for Science and Technology.
