CIN 2022 Annual Academic Conference - Academic Exchange Conference on Communication and Navigation, and Remote Sensing Technology was Successfully Held

On July 12, 2022, as one of the contents of the series of academic exchange conferences in the week of Maritime Day of China, the academic exchange conference of CIN between communication and navigation, and remote sensing technology was held online and offline. Pan Wei, vice president of CIN, Song Zhen, deputy director of CTTIC and Chu Beiping, vice president of DMU attended the meeting online and delivered a speech respectively. The conference was presided over by Luo Lun, chairman of the Nautical Remote Sensing Committee of CIN and Pang Fuwen, chairman of the Communication and Navigation Committee of CIN, and scholars and representatives from direct bureaus of Maritime Safety Administration, research institutes, universities, enterprises and many other units attended the conference.

With the theme of "Promoting the Development of Intelligent Navigation with the Help of Communication and Navigation as well as Remote Sensing Technology ", the conference organized academic exchanges and paper exchanges. In the academic exchange stage, six industry experts shared their research results. Hu Yulong and Lu Hongyang from CTTIC, Zhao Xianfeng from the Planning and Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport, Xu Jiande from Suzhou NSR Marine Ltd. , Liu Chang from DMU, and Qiu Zhenge from Shanghai Ocean University respectively gave a lecture on “Application of Remote Sensing Technology in Maritime Emergency Response”, “Application and Prospect of Beidou Satellite Navigation System in Maritime Field", "New Trends and Challenges of the Grand Water Traffic Management", "Future Development of Communication and Navigation Technology and Equipment ", "Intelligent Maritime Supervision with the Help of Integrated Information Network of Land, Sea, Air, Sky and Submarine ", "Development of Marine Geographic Information Technology", and all participants jointly discussed and planed the new future of communication and navigation, and remote sensing technology in the field of transportation. In the paper exchange stage, nine authors of excellent paper made reports on offshore equipment standards, digital inspection and certification of facilities, the impact of offshore wind farms on communication as well as remote supervision of ships, and control of unmanned vessels.

The Communication and Navigation Committee of CIN and the Nautical Remote Sensing Committee of CIN will further strengthen the cooperation between the committees under the leadership of CIN, contributing to the further development of communication and navigation as well as remote sensing.
