In order to appreciate scientific and technical workers, enhance their professional honor, sense of pride and mission, unite and lead them to cultivate their patriotism and take the lead in innovation, China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) carried out special campaigns to promote the spirit of scientists.
In response to the call of CAST CIN positively publicized "The most beautiful scientific worker -- Mao Xianqun" in its journal Marine Technology, and introduced two outstanding scientists-- geophysicist Huang Danian and irrigationist Zheng Shouren through public interest ads to promote their spirits.
